Infant Primary Coordinator's Message

Halide Atasay

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Fundraising:

On Wednesday the 24th of August, the Grade 2A and 1/2B class had a Sweet Stall. Parents of both classes contributed on the day by sending along sweets. On behalf of Ms Gokce and myself, I would like to thank all parents for their generous support. I would also like to personally thank Ms Gokce for organising this wonderful event. We would like to thank the students and teachers who helped and supported us on the day too. We are pleased to announce that we raised $561.65. All the proceeds will be going to the Qurban Campaign.

Physical Education Program:

During Term 3, the grade F-3 classes participated in an intense 6 week Gymnastics program at Gymnastics Unlimited. In Term 4, the grade F-2 students will be involved in a comprehensive Swimming Program at the Kings Derrimut Swimming Centre for 6 weeks. Students will be benefiting and improving on their physical development skills.

During Term 4 the No Hat, No Play policy will be enforced. Please ensure your child comes to school with their school hat, sun cream applied and a water bottle.

Reminder -Appointments:

Sirius College has a process for dealing with queries or concerns that parents may have when issues arise with students. Should you wish to discuss any concern regarding your child, please make an appointment at the office to see the classroom/relevant teacher. As a general rule, anything to do with student management or wellbeing is best handled by the relevant classroom teacher as the first point of call. They will pass it to the appropriate Coordinator or Principal member if necessary. Sirius College strives to be a very responsive school and wants to work with parents and families as effectively as possible.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all families a happy Eid El Adha and a very safe and enjoyable term break. I am looking forward in seeing you all in Term 4.

Kind Regards,
Mrs Atasay,
Infant Coordinator- Grade1/2B classroom teacher
